Freezing and Defrosting
Do all of the entrées freeze?
Yes, all of the entrées have been freezer tested.
How long can the entrées be stored?
All recipes and the packaging have been designed to last 2 to 3 months in the freezer. If entrées need to be consumed in a shorter period of time, it will be indicated on the packaging.
What do I do with my entrées when I get home?
Be sure to set your refrigerator temperature at 40º or below and the freezer temperature at 0º. Select the entrées you want to place in your refrigerator and place the remaining items in your freezer.
How do I defrost my entrées?
The proper way to defrost your entrées is in the refrigerator. We recommend that each Sunday, you pull 2-3 entrées from your freezer and place them in your refrigerator. This will ensure you have properly defrosted entrées to cook throughout the week. If you choose to thaw entrées out individually, allow 36 hours for each entrée to defrost.
